Speech/Language Pathologist

Responsible for providing direct and indirect SLP therapy and assessment based on child’s IEP goals and instructional program.  ASHA certification preferred, KY licensure/certification.

 

Basic Function:

The speech and language therapist is responsible for providing direct therapy to sudents with special needs on an individual and small group basis in order to adequately meet each child's IEP goals.  The speech therapist will be responsible for implementing child find/evaluation/placement procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations in regard to speech/language students.

 

Need to be a certified SL therapist in State of Ky. 

Experience with writing IEP's and providing services to students with disabilities as well as medicaid billing.
